Leigh’s Library!
This website is for teachers just like you!
Teachers who believe learning should be fun. Educators who are super busy and want to find simple and effective ways to motivate their students to actively participate in their own learning.
Hello!
I am Leigh Ulrich. I was an elementary school educator for 30 years!
In 2022, I became an official retiree. First, I was a classroom teacher for 24 years – mostly first grade. I taught first grade for 20 years but I also taught second, third, and fourth grade. Then, I became a K-2 school librarian (6 years).

My certifications include K-6 certification, National Board certification, Reading certification, Academically and Intellectually Gifted certification, and TESOL certification.
I told you I love to learn!

I also am an avid reader and love, love, love books
Now that you know about me, I want to learn about you! Send me an email at leigh@leighslibrary.com, and tell me about your career and interests.
I am so glad you are here!
Why I Started Leigh’s Library
My Teachers Pay Teachers store began during the pandemic. We were at home and I felt helpless! I wanted to help my teachers. Originally, I began making resources for my teachers to use with distance learning. Then, a teacher friend suggested I start selling my resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. I thought starting Leigh’s Library was a great way to help a lot of teachers.
This website was created because I see how hard teachers everywhere are working trying to help their students. Teachers, just like you, are so busy trying to meet the diverse needs of their students while still doing all the many jobs teachers do! I want to help you. I appreciate all you are doing for our students.
I want to make things easier for you.
